about

The Goatsuckers were a Portland, OR rock band that gigged locally from 2000-2003. A vehicle for Joe Baker's original rock songs, the classic lineup featured Joe on electric guitar and vocals, Jim Delaney on bass, and Tim Baker (The Rub) on drums. In 2001, Joe and Jim entered the home studio of Jacob Hall who would soon be recording albums for Built To Spill and Quasi. With the help of New Bad Things' David French drumming on half the tracks and Joe drumming on the other half, they produced a 6-song EP of raw rock/punk with shades of indie, country and blues.
